Hayo'u Bath Ritual

Bathing is crucially important to health in Chinese Medicine. This simple form of hydrotherapy is one of the easiest ways to boost immunity and rectify your health.

Water clears spiritual, energetic, emotional and physical aspects of stress. Bathing is used the world over to relieve stress, simply because hot water relaxes your muscles. Relaxed muscles send a message to the alarm centres in the brain that there's no threat, thus immediately engaging your parasympathetic nervous system (PNS).

Get in the bath when it is a quarter full. Then bring the temperature up whilst the water is running. As the water temperature rises the sympathetic nerve becomes predominant, blood pressure, heart rate and blood sugar levels all rise. Then, to correct this condition, the parasympathetic nerve becomes predominant, blood pressure decreases, heart rate goes down, and blood sugar also comes down, allowing the body to repair itself.

When combined with the the Hayo'u Mineral Bath, the ingredients are absorbed into the skin, each offering powerful benefits.

This is a beautiful product from a wonderful range, Hayo’u. The salts smell gorgeous, and if you use just a pinch in a hot water foot bath each night you will sleep well and feel fabulous!

Relaxing Minerals

These smell do beautiful. You only just need a handful on your bath. Lay back, relax, close your eyes and take some deep breaths and breath in the wonderful aroma. So relaxing!

Could smell stronger

This is a nice enough product but I didn’t feel that I got the sensory experience that I was hoping for.

The product hardly smells at all and when it hits the water it is very weak. It is an expensive product and I have used many other salts and enjoy inhaling the essential oils but this one was a disappointing.
